Chinese Geese
Chinese geese are available in both white and grey (sometimes known as brown) varieties.
They are a medium weight goose originating, as the name suggests, from China, a domestic descendant of the wild Swan Goose.
Their look is similar to that of African geese however Chinese are lighter, slimmer, taller with a longer neck and have no dewlap.
Known for their vociferous nature Chinese geese will always let you know when someone is around with a cacophony of honking!
They are intelligent and learn quickly.

Our own Chinese!
Grey Chinese
Our Chinese gander, Jack, has lived with us in the house since he was 2 weeks old. We purchased a diaper harness for him from the US and imprinted him to us simply by having him living with us, going for walks, feeding etc.
Although he goes out on the field with our other birds during the day, at night, Jack comes into the house to socialise with us and sleep.
He is particularly attentive to any hatchlings, be it chickens, ducks or geese and runs over to check that you are not hurting them when you are near them!
He enjoys, baths indoors, watching TV, walking to the pub and even has his own Facebook page Jack TheGoose!
He has a grey Chinese girlfriend called Jill!!!
White Chinese
Our white Chinese pair are called Whizzy the gander and Izzy the goose!
